Description:
• The position involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services in various clinical settings, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and schools.
• The role is based in New York, NY, and offers flexible scheduling options.
• The candidate will work on a contract basis to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Requirements:
• Conduct evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all county, federal, and facility standards.

Qualifications:
• Active New York county Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered in certain settings.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting (hospital, SNF, outpatient, or school-based) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
