Responsibilities


We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages. This position involves developing individualized therapy plans and working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.


+ Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities

+ Conduct swallowing evaluations and treatment, including videofluoroscopy

+ Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings

+ Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies

+ Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

+ Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress

+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking


Qualifications


+ Current CA SLP license. Recent board-eligible graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.

+ CFY candidates must apply at the conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).

+ AHA BLS Cert required

+ Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)


Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one one-year of equivalent pediatric experience is obtained.


Experienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply/obtain CCS paneling within six months of hire.
