Therapy Source is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person services in a charter school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2026 and will be for the remainder of the 26-27 school year.
Speech Language Pathologist Position Details:
- 20-35 hours per week
- Elementary through high school caseload
- Competitive compensation of up to $60 per hour or $2,100 per week, depending on experience
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license or eligible SLPA credentials
- Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them
- Proof of individual liability insurance or readiness to acquire it
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized goals for students requiring speech-language services.
- Provide direct speech and language intervention services to elementary through high school students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Support students in achieving their personal, academic, and social communication goals through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Manage caseload responsibilities, including case management duties, IEP participation, and service coordination.
- Provide consultation and collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, progress reports, and compliance with school, district, and state requirements.
