    Role Description This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is based in Oradell, NJ. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat residents and patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team, educates patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies, and participates in care planning meetings. The Speech Language Pathologist also contributes to quality improvement initiatives and helps maintain a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.

    • Candidates should possess skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech-related conditions.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess skills in evaluating and managing Dysphagia and other swallowing disorders.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess skills in diagnosing and treating Communication Disorders across diverse populations.
    • \n
    • Candidates should possess skills in addressing Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language needs.
    • \n
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • \n
    • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
    • \n
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
    • \n
    • Experience in senior care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings is beneficial.
    • \n
    • Strong interpersonal, documentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
