Comprehensive assessment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders in the outpatient setting with patients from birth to early school age years with complex medical diagnoses
Assessment and management of patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia in the Center for Airway Disorders and other multi-disciplinary medical clinics
Performing instrumental assessment of swallowing, including Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
Providing family education and case coordination
Completing documentation related to feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment
Working in close collaboration and partnership with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other health care professionals
The opportunity to provide feeding therapy services with program expansion
Minimum Qualifications Education:
A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
Experience:
1-3 years of directly related clinical experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders is required. Strong clinical fellows may be considered.
Licensure/Certification:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA)
A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
Ability to work collaboratively with inter-professional teams in a fast-paced medical environment.

Status: Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Category: Clinical Regular, Temporary, Per Diem: Regular Office/Site Location: Boston and a second satellite location (Waltham, Weymouth or Needham)
Work requires strong communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well-developed writing skills.
