Speech & Language Pathologist Outpatient Rehab

Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for administering speech/language and dysphagia diagnostic and treatment services to patients and maintaining appropriate records. Position provides age specific direct patient care according to the departments scope of services and is responsible for observing and evaluating treatment effect and results and discuss them with the patient, family, team and management. The primary setting for this position is Raleigh Campus Outpatient Rehab and may be required to cover other areas of the WakeMed Rehab Continuum as needed. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues as well as post-surgical orthopedics, multi-trauma and debility for both adults and pediatric populations.
