    Job Summary

    Join our dynamic team as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults. This position involves working primarily with children receiving services through Elwyn and other pediatric referrals. SLPs will provide speech and language therapy in daycare settings and/or children’s homes, helping young patients develop communication, feeding, and language skills in their natural environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working with children and wants the flexibility to gradually build their caseload while becoming part of a supportive and expanding company.

    Duties

    \n
    • \n
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
    • \n
    • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, age, and developmental level
    • \n
    • Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills
    • \n
    • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support patient progress and ensure consistency of care
    • \n
    • Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
    • \n
    • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards
    • \n
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care strategies for patients with complex needs
    • \n

    Qualifications

    \n
    • \n
    • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program and licensure in the relevant jurisdiction
    • \n
    • Prior school experience or familiarity with pediatric populations preferred
    • \n
    • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children and early intervention programs
    • \n
    • Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions
    • \n
    • Experience working with pediatric patients in clinical or educational settings is highly desirable
    • \n
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members
    • \n
