Description:

Position Summary

The Speech Pathologist provides one‑to‑one, patient‑centered care using advanced technology and clinical expertise in the home setting. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, social workers and home health aides.

Candidates must be highly motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, technologically proficient and comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized speech therapy services in patients' homes

  • Deliver patient‑centered, compassionate care

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive care plans

  • Utilize advanced and easy‑to‑use clinical technology

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Meets educational and experience requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA

OR

  • Meets educational requirements and is currently completing the supervised experience required for certification, registration or licensure in the State of Michigan (if applicable)
