Deliver speech and language services including evaluations, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development, direct intervention, and collaborative support to educators and families. Services are aligned with IDEA, PA Chapter 14, and Act 212 guidelines.
Evaluate and identify students with communication disorders.
Conduct screenings independently or within multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary teams.
Draft evaluation reports (ER) and develop IEPs alongside teachers, parents, and staff.
Provide targeted therapy: individual, group, classroom-based, or community-based.
Collaborate with educators and families to support communication development and literacy.
Design and facilitate trainings focused on communication and literacy.
Support curriculum development and grant-based initiatives related to language and literacy.
Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology (Master’s preferred)
Completed Clinical Fellowship (CF) Year
Pennsylvania Department of Education certification
ACCESS Program credentials preferred
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred
Post-graduate coursework in communication or literacy a plus
Proven experience working with children with special needs or developmental delays
Preferred: background in deaf culture and experience with deaf or hard of hearing students
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license required
Must meet eligibility requirements for billing under state and federal medical assistance programs
