Speech Language Pathologist Role in Person- Metuchen, New Jersey

Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Location: Metuchen, New Jersey
Schedule: 35+ hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team serving elementary-aged students. These positions focus on supporting students with diverse communication needs, including a high population of children with Autism and preschool-aged learners.

Student Population:

Grades: Preschool through 5th grade (K–5)
High Autism population
Mixed caseload including preschool students

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active New Jersey SLP license (or eligibility)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply with secured external supervision
Please note: The district is unable to provide supervision for CFs
SLPAs will not be considered for this role

Schedule & Hours:

Full-time positions (35+ hours per week)
School-based calendar

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
