    Whole Mind Psychological Services provides comprehensive evaluations and support to help children, adolescents, and young adults thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The team offers a wide range of assessment services, including psychoeducational, school neuropsychological, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning disabilities, speech and language, social-behavioral, IQ, gifted, independent educational, and college accommodations evaluations. In addition to testing, the practice delivers literacy coaching, executive function coaching, cognitive training, individual counseling, parent and family coaching, and IEP/504 consultation. Services are designed to offer clear insights, personalized guidance, and practical strategies so every learner can reach their potential.

    Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in or around San Jose, CA. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct speech and language evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, including assessments of expressive and receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication. Responsibilities may include developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct speech therapy services, monitoring progress, and documenting findings in clear, timely reports. The role also involves collaborating with psychologists, educators, and families, offering recommendations for school supports, and participating in IEP and 504 plan discussions as needed to support communication and learning outcomes.

    Qualifications

    \n

    • \n
    • Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for diverse populations.
    • \n
    • Experience working with Communication Disorders, such as articulation, fluency, voice, and social-pragmatic challenges.
    • \n
    • Expertise in Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language delays and disorders.
    • \n
    • Knowledge of Dysphagia evaluation and management is preferred, particularly in pediatric and adolescent populations.
    • \n
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • \n
    • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in California and ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
    • \n
    • Experience in educational or pediatric clinical settings and familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and school-based services.
    • \n
    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
