Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist – School (ASL Required)
Location: Houston, TX
Contract Duration: 42 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Weekly Hours: 37.5 Hours | Monday – Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Speech Language Pathologist – School (ASL Required) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with campus SLPs for caseload management
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals
- Provide support for students requiring ASL communication assistance
- Travel between campuses if required
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required or in process
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or eligible
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
