Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist – School
Location: Rock Hall, MD
Setting: School-Based (In-Person)
Contract Duration: 42 Weeks (School Year 2026–2027)
Pay Rate:
Local: Up to $60/hr
Travel: Up to $72/hr Including Stipend
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Weekly Hours: 37.5 Billable Hours | Monday – Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Speech Language Pathologist – School for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rock Hall, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from birth through age 21
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments for communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
- Deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings
- Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 30 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support communication goals
- Work across multiple nearby school sites when required (no same-day travel between sites)
- Support communication development and academic success
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license required (in hand prior to start)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or eligible
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP and special education processes
- Ability to work independently in in-person school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable with pediatric and young adult caseloads
- Flexibility for multiple nearby school locations if needed
- Part-time candidates may be considered
