Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements:
    • State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
    • ESA Certification
    • ASHA CCC or CFY certification
  • Experience Requirements:
    • At least 1 year of experience working with pediatric populations in an educational setting
    • Previous school-based therapy experience preferred
    • Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Flexible and adaptive to school schedules and caseloads

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in the school setting, assessing and diagnosing communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student progress and ensure effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of clinical assessments, intervention plans, and progress notes.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as required to support student success.
