**Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Setting**
**Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week | 40-Week Contract** **Start Date:** September 2, 2026 **Location:** School-Based (District Assignment)
**Position Overview**
The **Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)** provides evaluations, direct therapy, and documentation for students in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders. This role supports students with communication, language, articulation, fluency, and social-pragmatic needs in a collaborative school environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Student Evaluations** - Assess communication needs and determine eligibility for services.
+ **Therapy Services** - Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy aligned with student goals.
+ **Documentation** - Maintain accurate, timely records per district and professional standards.
+ **Collaboration** - Partner with teachers, SPED teams, and families to support student progress.
+ **IEP Participation** - Contribute to IEP development, progress updates, and team meetings.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Active **Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license** in the state of assignment
+ **CCC-SLP** preferred (may be required by state/contract)
+ Compliance with all professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate per state/contract requirements
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
