Summary
The Sultan School District is seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated applicants for the position of Speech Language Pathologist. The speech/language pathologist is a certified speech pathologist and hearing therapist who provides evaluative, habilitative (therapy), and consultative services for students with disabilities in need of language, speech or hearing therapy.

APPLICATION PROCESS
NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide a range of services to students with disabilities, including:
- Evaluating students to identify communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing speech and language therapy to students
- Consulting with teachers and other professionals to support student learning
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure student progress
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy
- Collaborate with other professionals to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in IEP meetings and other team meetings as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, FORMAL TRAINING
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Completion of a clinical fellowship or internship in speech-language pathology
