Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct Speech Therapy assessments and evaluations to diagnose residents and formulate treatment plans.
Track residents' progress and modify treatments as necessary.
Document details regarding initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge of clients.
Evaluate and monitor progress, preparing comprehensive reports.
Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare team members and contribute to team objectives.
Qualifications for SLP Candidates:
Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program.
Possession of a current SLP License in New York State.
· Knowledge of current evidence-based practices aligned with the standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
