Make an Impact Where It Matters Most

At TX-STAR Speech Language Services, we partner with school districts across Texas to support students with speech and language needs. We are currently hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for school-based opportunities in the Austin area.

This role is ideal for clinicians who want to work in a collaborative educational environment while making a direct impact on student outcomes.

What You’ll Do

As an SLP in a school setting, you will support students across a variety of communication needs while working alongside educators and special education teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs

  • Develop and manage individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

  • Provide direct and/or group therapy services to students

  • Track progress and adjust treatment strategies based on outcomes

  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute clinical recommendations

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain compliant, timely documentation and service logs

  • Support students with a range of needs (articulation, language, fluency, social communication, etc.)

What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Active Texas SLP license or eligibility

  • ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply – supervision available)

  • School-based or pediatric experience is a plus

  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services

  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize effectively

  • Caseloads typically range from Pre-K through High School
