Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP CCC or CFY)

As a K-12 school-based Speech Language Pathologist in Minneapolis, MN, your days will include:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on student needs, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement strategies and accommodations in the classroom.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, services, progress notes, and other required records.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.
Provide professional recommendations for speech and language support services.
Stay informed about best practices and current research in speech-language pathology and educational service delivery.
Comply with district policies, state laws, and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) requirements
Job Details
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options
Successful Candidates Possess
Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD)
An active or pending State Licensure, or the ability to obtain (preferred)
ASHA CCC (preferred)
A Department of Education Licensure, if applicable
Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
