Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a state-run developmental center in Columbus, OH.
This is a flexible, part-time role focused on evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Work Schedule Flexibility
Choose from multiple options:

2–3 full days (8 hrs) per week

Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Evaluation

Conduct evaluations for:

Speech & language disorders

Cognitive-linguistic function

Swallowing (dysphagia)

Social/pragmatic communication

Assess need for AAC (augmentative communication devices)
Therapy & Treatment

Develop and implement:

Individual therapy plans

Group therapy sessions
-
Provide therapy for:

Communication disorders
-
Swallowing impairments
-
Functional life communication skills
Specialized Interventions

Train patients in:
-
AAC devices
-
Communication strategies
-
Daily functional communication (social settings, routines)

Recommend:

Diet modifications

Referrals and diagnostic testing (e.g., swallow studies)
Collaboration

Required Qualifications
Active SLP License (Ohio preferred)
Experience in:

Speech & language therapy

Dysphagia management
Strong documentation & communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with developmental disabilities
AAC device experience
Rehab / LTC / SNF background
