Under under the immediate supervision of the Superintendent/Principal and/or administrative designee, with assistance from the Director of Special Education, the Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist provides services to students with speech and/or language disabilities within the directives of the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA); providing pertinent information and consultant services to staff members and parents; ongoing student evaluation and progress monitoring, planning with regular classroom teachers, and intervention for students who qualify for services. Pacific Union Elementary School District is a single school school district serving approximately 330 students in grades TK-8. It is a 22 square mile rural district, in Fresno, CA. The school is a 15-20 minute drive from central Fresno, located near Manning and Cedar, 3 minutes from Highway 41.
