Job SummaryAs a
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with
Buena Vista Home Health, you will provide in-home speech therapy services to help patients improve communication and swallowing function. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and compassionate, with a passion for working with the geriatric community.
Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide therapy ordered by the physician
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families
- Prepare clinical notes and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Recommend communication devices and aids as needed
- Participate in case conferences and maintain clinical competency
Requirements- Active California SLP License
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with insured, reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and organizational skills
