Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Long Beach, CA

This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, focusing on making meaningful connections and measurable progress with an elementary caseload assigned across multiple school sites.

Your daily work will involve assessing students’ communication and swallowing disorders, crafting individualized goals, collaborating in IEP meetings, and delivering direct speech-language therapy. The itinerant nature of the caseload introduces variety to each day, as you travel between campus locations delivering high-impact support where it’s needed most.

What you’ll bring:

• Current, active California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• Prior experience in school-based settings (preferred)
• Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) is a plus
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt to multiple environments and work independently
