Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 40 Hours
Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an assignment at a leading medical facility in Kansas City, MO.
The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and support recovery.

Clinical Coverage Areas
SLPs will provide care for:

Speech and language disorders
-
Swallowing (dysphagia) evaluation and treatment

Cognitive-communication impairments
-
Neurological conditions (stroke, TBI, etc.)

Adult and geriatric patient populations
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform comprehensive speech and swallowing evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Provide dysphagia management and diet recommendations
-
Deliver therapy for speech, language, and cognitive deficits
-
Educate patients and families on therapy plans and strategies
-
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members
Required Qualifications
Active Missouri SLP License
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of SLP experience
Preferred Qualifications

Acute care or hospital experience

Experience with dysphagia and bedside swallow evaluations

Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
Scheduling & Assignment Details

Monday – Friday schedule
