We are seeking a compassionate and motivated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our
in-house rehab team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Provide interventions to improve communication, swallowing safety, and quality of life
- Educate patients, families, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care plans and discharge outcomes
Qualifications- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Texas
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred (mentorship available for new grads)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Dedication to patient-centered care
