Founded in 2005, Capitol Academy and Capitol Elementary are Non-Public Schools (NPS) serving students with a range of learning, behavioral, developmental, and communication needs. What You'll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll provide comprehensive speech and language services while partnering with the student's broader educational and support team.

You'll:

• Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify individual communication needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals that support educational and functional success.
• Provide therapy targeting areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, and other identified needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and required compliance records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other service providers.
• Partner with classroom staff to carry communication strategies into the student's daily learning environment.
• Create a positive, engaging therapy environment that builds student confidence and encourages progress.
• Advocate for students and contribute your clinical perspective as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• A student-centered approach and genuine desire to help students reach their potential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
