Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Department Lead
Behavioral Family Solutions (BFS) is an established ABA company serving hundreds of families throughout South Florida. We are excited to expand our multidisciplinary services and are seeking an experienced and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and lead our new Speech Therapy Department.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping children thrive while building and shaping a department from the ground up within an established and rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the Speech Therapy Department
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s communication needs
• Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric clients
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, caregivers, and other professionals
• Supervise and support future speech therapy staff as the department expands
• Ensure compliance with all documentation, ethical, and licensing requirements
• Assist in developing department procedures, scheduling, and service delivery systems
Qualifications:
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for building and growing a pediatric therapy program
