    Description

    Speech-language Pathologist SLP 

    We are seeking a licensed Speech-language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with an established home health agency. The successful candidate will provide speech therapy to pediatric patients and their families.  

    Responsibilities 

    As a Speech-language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of effective patient treatment plans to restore, compensate, or adapt for loss of patient function and planning and administering medically prescribed therapy. Additional responsibilities include: 

    • Select appropriate treatment models and direct the therapy process, in accordance with federal, state, and professional regulations 

    • Address performance to support engagement in occupations that affect quality of life 

    • Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) 

    • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and train in the use of adaptive equipment 

    • Assess client’s home environment and advise on alterations to support patient needs and capabilities 

    • Collect patient data, document observations, and report treatment progress 

    Duties 

    • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans 

    • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patient abilities 

    • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed 

    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 

    • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques 

    Job Requirements 

    • Graduate of ASHA accredited school 

    • Active Texas therapy license or eligible 

    • Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) 

    • BLS/CPR certification 

    • Valid Driver’s and insurance
