ESY 2026 Speech and Language Pathologist SLPPreschool

Qualifications Required ------------------------

Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist Successful teaching experience Experience implementing direct speech services including articulation, receptive, and expressive language needs, and social communication Ability to relate and communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators

Qualifications Preferred -------------------------

Experience working in the Malden Public Schools SEI Endorsement

Duties and Responsibilities -----------------------------

Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEPs Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records Keep folders and portfolios with student work Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program

Program Administration and Implementation -----------------------------------------

83 hours total to include the following:

Professional In-service Days ---------------------------

Date TBD 3 hours

20 days, Monday-Thursday from July 6-August 6, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Stipend: $40 per hour, $320 total (20 days) 1 in-service at 3 hours
