Our organization is currently in search of a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
SLP Qualifications:Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
Possession of a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in New York State is required.
Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, recent graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Conduct Speech Therapy evaluations and assessments to diagnose residents and formulate treatment plans.
Track residents' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
Document details regarding initial evaluations, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
Evaluate and monitor progress, preparing comprehensive reports.
Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
