Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

Location: Rock Hall, MD
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 37.5 Billable Hours
Duration: 42 Weeks
Start Date: August 17, 2026 (Approximate)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an in-person school-based assignment in Rock Hall, Maryland for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will support students ranging from Birth to Age 21 and is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children and young adults improve communication and academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and treatment goals

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and maintain accurate progress documentation

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide therapy recommendations and progress updates

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with school guidelines

  • Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and school district regulations

  • Support students with communication strategies to improve classroom participation and daily functioning

  • Travel between assigned school locations when necessary

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required

  • Active Maryland SLP License required at time of submission

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently

  • Passion for working with children and supporting developmental and educational outcomes
