Location: Plymouth, MI

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP (through May 13, with potential extension to June 10)
• Duration: 6 Weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Hours: 37.5 hours/week (All billable)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term, school-based assignment supporting middle school students. This role offers a structured and collaborative environment focused on delivering effective speech and language services.

Key Details

• Setting: Middle School (Liberty Middle School)
• Caseload: ~58 students
• Schedule: 5 x 7.5-hour days
• Duration: 6 weeks (extension possible)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and goal setting
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with school staff and families
• Monitor and adjust therapy plans
• Ensure compliance with school guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan SLP License (in hand)
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with middle school students
• Ability to adapt in short-term assignments
• Familiarity with school-based therapy tools
