Assignment Details
- Duration: 42 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 37.5–40 hours/week (All billable)
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based setting, supporting students from birth to age 21. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services while collaborating with educators and families to support student success.
Key Details
- Setting: School-Based
- Caseload: ~30 students
- Flexibility: Open to full-time and part-time candidates
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Provide therapy aligned with student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and care teams
- Conduct evaluations and screenings
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland SLP License (in hand)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP preferred (CFY candidates considered)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with early intervention and school-age populations
- Ability to manage multi-site coordination
- Strong adaptability in educational environments
