Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting

Location: Elizabeth, CO
Shift: Day Shift | 3x7.5-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 3 Days per Week | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: August 5, 2026 – May 20, 2027
Weekly Hours: 22.5 Billable Hours

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based assignment in Elizabeth, Colorado. The ideal candidate will support students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders while collaborating with school staff and families to improve educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals

  • Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and progress evaluations

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation and recommendations

  • Maintain accurate student records, therapy notes, and compliance documentation

  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services

  • Support students with communication strategies for academic and social success

  • Ensure compliance with educational and professional standards

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required

  • Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification required by start date

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage caseload effectively and maintain documentation

  • Passion for working with children and supporting educational outcomes
