SSM Health Rehabilitation Network

Speech Language Pathologist PRN Float

Seeking a PRN Licensed and ASHA Certified Clinically Competent Speech Language Pathologist to join our Regional Speech Department!

This position will be required to float to all three inpatient hospitals (St. Mary''s, DePaul, St. Joseph''s West) and the five acute locations (St, Clair, St. Joseph''s, St. Mary''s, St. Joseph''s West, DePaul.)

SSM Health Rehabilitation Network encompasses five SSM-STL Acute Care hospitals throughout the metro St. Louis region (SSM Health St. Marys, St. Josephs-St. Charles, DePaul, St. Clare and St. Josephs-Lake Saint Louis) and includes three SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospitals. Two of our inpatient rehabilitation units are located within acute care hospitals (SSM Health St. Mary''s Health Center in St. Louis, and SSM Health St. Joseph West in Lake St. Louis) and we have one a stand-alone hospital (the 60-bed SSM Health Bridgeton Hospital in Bridgeton). This wide footprint in the greater St. Louis area provides patients with convenient, on-site access to very specialized medical care during their rehabilitative stay.

Speech Therapy is compromised in a regional unit, requiring all SLPs to be competent and available to work across both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. This allows for a breadth of knowledge for our patients and also, increased coverage based on census and hospital needs. Teamwork and individualized, compassionate patient care provide a basis for learning and professional development in a community hospital atmosphere. Therapy is provided in the areas of orthopedics, cardiopulmonary, neurology, oncology, general medicine and surgery.

Preference to CFY candidates that have clinical experience within our network.
