Primary Responsibilities:- Conduct Speech Therapy assessments and evaluations to diagnose residents and formulate treatment plans.
- Track residents' progress and modify treatments as necessary.
- Document details regarding initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge of clients.
- Evaluate and monitor progress, preparing comprehensive reports.
- Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare team members and contribute to team efforts.
Qualifications for SLP Candidates:- Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Possession of a current New York State SLP License.
- Knowledge of current evidence-based practices aligned with the standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
