Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current State SLP License
Role Overview
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients whose communication, cognitive, or swallowing abilities have been affected by developmental delays, disabilities, or medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members to support meaningful functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs.
- Recommend and support AAC and assistive technology when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
