Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM | 22.5 Hours Per Week (3 Days/Week)
Pay Rate:
Local: $40 - $50/hr
Travel: $55 - $64/hr (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist – School Setting for an exciting Contract opportunity in Elizabeth, CO.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication evaluations.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and therapy notes.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, occupational therapists, and multidisciplinary school teams.
Monitor student progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
Educate families and school personnel regarding communication disorders and intervention techniques.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations for special education services.
Utilize evidence-based practices to improve student communication and educational outcomes.
Support students with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when applicable.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations.
Knowledge of IEP processes, special education regulations, and school-based service delivery.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
