Speech Language Pathologist; Special Education - Extended School Year

Assignment type: Temporary Grades: Preschool - Transition Age (22) Anticipated start date: July 6, 2026 Anticipated end date: July 23, 2026

SLP Wage: SVEA Professional Rate $47.46 per hour or SLPA Wage: $38.41 - $40.68 per hour (2025-26 PSE Salary Schedule)

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Friday: Not scheduled Weekly work hours: 12

We are currently looking for either an SLP or SLPA to provide instruction to SVSD students based on identified individual objectives. All applicants must have experience with special education students. For more complete details, please see the attached job descriptions.

This position will:

• Focus on language and social skills • Assist the teacher in completing ESY report at the end of the 3 weeks • Require knowledge of PECS • Engage students for maximum use of time

Benefits:

Insurance: This summer school position alone is not eligible for insurance. If combined with another position or assignment during the school year, including substituting, an employee anticipated to work at least 630 hours in a school year is eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

Retirement Plans: This position is eligible for a 403(b) TSA Retirement Savings Plan.

Paid Holidays: This position is not eligible for paid holidays.

Paid Time Off: This position is not eligible for paid time off.

*Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB).
