Kona Medical Consulting is looking for an SLP, working set-up is in person in Fredericksburg, Woodbridge, Springfield, Herndon and Manassas, VA.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an passionate Speech Therapist interested in working with a pediatric population, 1-21 yrs of age, within a multidisciplinary clinic setting. You will assist kids with their speech, language and feeding issues, maintain safety and ultimately maximize their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Provide treatments that help improve patients’ quality of life
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Therapist (Required)
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice speech therapy
Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends if desired
- Flexible Schedule
Salary:
$50.00 - $65.00 per hour
