Novato Unified School District (NUSD) has approximately 800 staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of 7,400 students. We have eight elementary schools, including one dual-language immersion and one TK-8 school, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. NUSD also has an Alternative Education Center housing a continuation school and an independent study student program serving grades K-12. All schools within Novato Unified offer special education services along with Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) and special assistance is provided for all English learner students.

Job Summary
NUSD is looking for a School Speech Language Pathologist to support the Special Education Departments Summer 2026 Extended School Year Program ESY. The program will be hosted at San Ramon Elementary School and the length of the program is 06/15/2026 - 07/10/2026. This is an hourly position. The ideal applicant would come to us with an intern, preliminary, or clear California Credential. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails.
