What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program
- NYS licensure and clinical certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Completion of clinical fellowship year
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to educate patients, families, and staff
- Organizational skills for scheduling and treatment planning
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with diverse populations or pediatric and adult patients
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency
- Additional certifications relevant to speech therapy specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Clinical fellowship completed or in progress with foundational therapy experience
Other Requirements:
- Valid NYS licensure and certification in speech pathology
- Ability to work day shifts (8 hours)
- Willingness to participate in community programs and multidisciplinary teams
- Travel reimbursement eligibility when applicable
