  • Conducts speech and language screenings, without interpretation, using protocols developed by the supervising Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Follows and implements documented IEP plans or protocols.
  • Documents student progress toward meeting established objectives and reports information to the SLP.
  • Assists the SLP during assessments by preparing materials and performing clerical duties.
  • Prepares therapy materials and/or equipment for classroom and therapy activities.
  • Adapts or modifies instructional materials and/or equipment based on student needs.
  • Assists in maintaining student records and preparing reports.
  • Treating speech and language disorders
  • Administering speech and language evaluations
  • Treat speech and language problems
  • Administer diagnostic speech and language evaluations
  • Evaluate, and provide speech-language therapy for students with identified speech-language impairments
  • Participate in speech/language hearing screenings
  • Provide speech language pathology/dysphasia services
  • Provide speech language therapy treatment to referred patients
  • Evaluate client for speech and language therapy
  • Determine speech/language needs of child
  • Measure patient's speech and language
  • Provide speech therapy only evaluations
  • Perform therapeutic speech and language treatments
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services
  • Treat speech, language, and hearing disorders
  • Provide rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders
  • Swallowing disorders by speech pathologists
  • Treat all referred speech/language pathology patients
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
  • Provide speech therapy for all types of speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders

Critical Information
  • Schedule: 7:45am-3:45pm M-Th; 7:45am-1:15pm on Fridays.
  • 37.5 hours weekly.
  • Local candidates only, available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date.

Education/Licenses Needed
  • Associates Degree.
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License in the State of Arizona.
