Under the supervision of the Director of Pediatric Services, the Speech Language-Pathologist is responsible for scheduling assigned patients, keeping patient records, preparing therapy plans and material, and conducting conferences. The SLP provides a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive communication skills and/or swallowing function and provide treatment to achieve maximum ability. The Speech Language-Pathologist adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics as set forth by the State Board.
