Requirements
Must have prior Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
Graduate of a college or university accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current New York State (NYS) license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Eligible for or holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff.
Strong assessment and clinical evaluation skills to determine patient needs, prognosis, and appropriate treatment plans.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including Epic.
Knowledge of the PDPM (Patient-Driven Payment Model) reimbursement system is preferred.
Distance / Rate Requirements
A 75-mile radius rule applies for travelers.
Local candidates residing less than 75 miles from the assignment location may be considered at the applicable local rate.
Both local and travel candidates may be considered, based on eligibility and applicable requirements.
