Speech Language Pathologist

A hospital in Vernal, Utah is seeking a junior-level Speech Language Pathologist to join its clinical team. This is a fully on-site, in-person position requiring regular reporting to the facility location. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to patients requiring speech, language, and communication support. Day-to-day responsibilities align with standard SLP clinical practice within a hospital setting, encompassing patient assessment, individualized care planning, and direct therapeutic intervention. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings
• Deliver direct therapeutic intervention to support patient progress and recovery
• Monitor and document patient outcomes throughout the course of treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Operate within the standard scope of speech language pathology practice in a hospital setting

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Utah required
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field required
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
