Position Overview
Phaxis Education is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a charter school in Washington, DC.
We are currently exploring a small number of immediate openings for the remainder of this school year, while primarily focusing on building our pipeline for 2026–2027 school year roles.
This is a great opportunity for clinicians looking for flexibility now, with the potential to secure a longer-term placement for next school year.
Position Details
- Part-time opportunities available (flexible scheduling)
- K–12 caseloads (varies by assignment)
- Service delivery may include direct and/or indirect therapy
- Potential for extension into the 2026–2027 school year
- Onsite preferred; hybrid options may be available depending on the school
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Provide therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Maintain compliant documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with school staff and families
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active DC SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- CCC-SLP preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- New graduates welcome
