Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital - BradfordSpeech Language Pathologist - to work with both inpatient and outpatientPer Diem: $50/hrPart Time: $43 - $51 depending on experienceWeekend Diff for both PD and Part time: $5.00We are looking for additional SLP's to join our Therapy team in both our inpatient and outpatient departments. Part Time would have a set/guaranteed schedule while Per Diem hours would be more flexible based on your availability.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments to determine speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy to patients with various communication disorders.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Skills:
Proficiency in critical care and patient assessment.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Experience in patient care within acute care settings.
Familiarity with ICU and case management.
Ability to provide speech therapy services effectively.
Must be licensed in Massachusetts
Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence
This position requires a candidate with a strong background in speech therapy, acute care, and patient management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
