Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time


Location: New York
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $55 $70 per hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will collaborate closely with clients, families, educators, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans that promote communication skills, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

This role involves delivering evidence-based care across diverse patient populations while contributing to coordinated, team-based rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services for pediatric and/or adult populations with communication disorders.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, reports, and treatment notes.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home programs.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to coordinated care planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Strong clinical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
