    Role Description The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is a part-time, on-site role based in Lauderhill, FL. The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions under supervision, and assisting with documentation of progress notes and session reports. Day-to-day tasks include preparing therapy materials, working directly with clients to support speech, language, and articulation goals, and collecting data to monitor outcomes. The SLPA will also help maintain a safe, organized therapy environment, communicate observations to supervising clinicians, and collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce home practice recommendations.\n

    • Candidates should possess skills in speech and articulation to support implementation of targeted therapy activities.

    • Candidates should possess skills in speech therapy techniques to assist in carrying out evidence-based treatment plans.

    • Candidates should possess skills in communication and understanding communication disorders to effectively support diverse client needs.

    • Completed or in-progress coursework or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, in accordance with state regulations.
    • \n
    • Experience working with children or adults in educational, clinical, or community settings is beneficial.
    • \n
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow clinical directions and protocols.
    • \n
    • Respectful, culturally responsive approach and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
